JOHN LEGGETT LLB
John is renowned for his personable manner with clients and his down-to-earth approach to solving legal issues.
Community spirit holds a special place for John. He has been involved in local body politics as a District Councillor over the past decade and was elected Mayor of Marlborough in 2016.

His legal mind and manner have enabled him to develop a leadership and working style that is focused on achieving resolutions successfully and with respect.

Despite his busy duties as the region's Mayor, John remains very active within the firm and for his clients.
After his graduation from Canterbury University in 1977, John spent a number of years overseas and throughout New Zealand in corporate and finance law.
He returned to his Blenheim home-town in the late 1980s and joined Wisheart Macnab & Partners as Staff Solicitor.

John has a busy conveyancing practice within the firm, and his open manner and integrity enable his clients to resolve their legal issues successfully and cost-effectively. He is supported by Registered Legal Executive Frances Gee and Legal Secretary Trisha Thompson.
