DAVID CLARK LLB

David is our Senior Partner. He is also
the Litigation Partner specialising in civil litigation and resource management.

David's work in this field has enabled clients to successfully secure water rights for viticulture development, to secure marine farming space, and to obtain complex and challenging resource consents.

His work has led to successfully representing clients at all levels of the Courts of New Zealand including presenting one of New Zealand's last civil cases before the Privy Council.

David appreciates that civil litigation and resource management can be daunting minefields for many clients.

His approachable manner enables him to work on your behalf to get to the heart of the issue you're facing, and to help you achieve a cost-effective resolution.

David is widely recognised for his lateral thinking which has led to success in both the courtroom and out of court.
 

David joined the firm as Staff Solicitor in 1983 and became a Partner after his second year at Wisheart Macnab & Partners. He is supported by Registered Legal Executive Ang Woolf.

His focus on resource management work has been a natural fit alongside Marlborough's changing economic profile since the late '90s - particularly in the wine and aquaculture industries.
